brève description:
Former mining heap, overgrown with locust trees, similar woody plants and shrubs. The heap is accessible from the street via a small wooden bridge, and there is a footpath. Spots with little or no vegetation, the so-called overburden (mining spoil), is still clearly visible. Small pools and puddles of mine waste have accumulated at the foot of the spoil tip.

coming on the A 8 highway, take the Merchweiler exit and follow the L 127 in the direction of Quierschied. Halfway between Quierschied and Fischbach, turn right onto Fischbachstraße. Cars must be parked here. Cross the L 127, follow the walkway and cross the footbridge to access the spoil tip.
