known as the largest waterfalls in the French department of Vosges, the Cascades of Tendon are a splendid oasis of freshness at an altitude of 600 metres. Nestled amidst a forest of firs in the stunning natural environment of the Vosges Mountains, the Grande Cascade plummets 32 metres to the valley below, polishing the rocky outcrops on its way down. By following a 1 km long forest trail (a 20 minute walk), you will reach the smaller waterfall, la Petite Cascade de Tendon, no less impressive than its bigger counterpart.
