Gräfinthaler Hof is situated on the lower reaches of the river Blies, near the town of Bliesmengen-Bolchen, in the vicinity of the border between Lorraine and the Saarland. The former monastery was a gift by the Countess of Blieskastel who, in 1243, bestowed it upon the monastic order of the Hermits of Saint William as a token of her gratitude for the recovery of her health. Today, the building erected on the vestiges of the monastery in the village of Gräfinthal houses a charming restaurant with a rural ambience. Included on the menu are traditional delicacies from the Saar region as well as numerous fish specialties. The restaurant also disposes of a modern, elegant conservatory annexe and a Mediterranean garden terrace which provides shade during the summer months

coming from Saarbrücken, take the A620 urban motorway going in the direction of Mannheim/St. Ingbert. At the Autobahndreieck Saarbrücken interchange, get on the A6. Take the Saarbrücken-Fechingen exit (no. 4) going in the direction of Saarbrücken Airport, Fechingen, Mandelbachtal, Ensheim, and continue on the L107 country road. After approx. 800 m, the L107 turns into Provinzialstraße. Follow the course of the road for approx. 1,5 km, then turn right onto An der Kronenmühle. After approx. 120 m, turn left onto Bliesransbacher Strasse (L105). After approx. 8 km, Bliesransbacher Strasse turns into Uhrigsmühle (still L105), which turns into Gräfinthaler Strasse (L238). After approx. 1 km, turn left onto Gräfinthal and you will have reached the restaurant after another 200 m
