The "Alte Schmelz" is an industrial cathedral, protected as a historic monument, and can be used as event or production venue for all types of studio projects or events. The former ironworks has been painstakingly restored without sacrificing any of its original character and historic integrity. It is consummately equipped for concerts, conventions, events, and the production of television and film projects: two group dressing rooms, two VIP dressing rooms, all with separate showers and toilets, spacious make-up room, large green room, and two production offices. Hall size 60 x 30 metres. Ceiling height up to 14 metres. With three separate, differently-sized performance or event spaces, the Eventhaus is another industrial building located on the same site: its foyer, hall and club can be used together or separately.

The foyer (surface area of 240 m²) has a 360° timber plank gallery and visible roof construction. The club (surface area of 530 m²) is equipped with sophisticated light and sound technology and a bar. The gallery and the original flooring have been preserved. The hall can seat 450 persons and comes equipped with a professional light and sound system. It also has a gallery.
