With its elliptical form, the architecturally extraordinary building, which was finished in 2001, attracts visitors from near and far. Praised for its exceptional atmosphere, the event hall hosts music and theatre performances as well as company parties and conferences, in short: it’s perfect for everyone who seeks something special. The clear-cut design and the use of precious materials guarantee that a walk through the Illipse is an aesthetic pleasure. The stairway, which is bathed in light due to an oval skylight, leads to the spacious foyer with a nice bar counter. The auditorium can accommodate 500 people (seated) plus another 100 people (seated) on the gallery. The stage is equipped with 2kW follow spots, an 8 x 6 screen and retractable stairs.
